Year 6 Maths Challenge

This week, on the day of their final SATs paper (maths reasoning) four of our year 6 students went to St Faith's to compete in the Year 6 Cambridge Schools Maths Challenge. There were three rapid-fire rounds of questions and our two teams performed very creditably in a large and high-quality field.

We are really proud of the enthusiasm that our children had for taking part in the event and their natural focus on having fun and trying something new. None of the four competitors ever lets their considerable intellects get in the way of being lovely, well-adjusted and modest young people and they are a credit to themselves and their families.

A very large and plump 'Well Done!' to Dan, Louisa, Ricky and Timo. It was a pleasure and a privilege to accompany you to the competition - just as it is to teach you every day...
