Year 1 Cake sale Friday 18th October at 3.15pm

Sports Week

This week was Sports Week, in which all the children were encouraged to try something new. We had also intented to enjoy our annual sports day - until the inclement weather intervened.

 

Year 6 tried pigeon racing (but were not quite fast enough to catch any of them), ultimate frisbee and table tennis. Year 3 learned touch rugby and power lifting. Year 5 explored deep sea competitive shark fishing and the amazing world of kabaddi (a particular favourite of mine). Oh yes, and the whole school had a go at zumba!

 

OK, I may have exaggerated just a touch, but we did have some fun and we really did extend our experience of the sporting world. Now, let's see what kind of photographs Miss Kounnou took when she was let loose with her ipad...
