A reading tardis appeared in the playround this week.
On the outside, it looks like a simple shed - a mid-range model such as can be purchased from any large, reputable garden centre. On the inside an infinitely large portal to a magnificent world of wonder is revealed to anyone brave enough to pass through its doors.
Like the British Library, the reading tardis contains a copy of every book ever produced in the United Kingdom and Ireland - and because it can travel freely through time and space, it also has copies of several books that have not yet been written.
Here are some of our Year 1 children enjoying the delights of the reading tardis.
