Stage 2 of the project focuses on digging the hole. This is always much more fun when a mechanical digger is involved!

At the end of October, the hole was completed and the liner installed. The air in the hole was then carefully replaced with water.

A little while later, whilst enjoying a well-earned cup of strong tea, Mr Pillin found a lovely beetle in the Conservation Area. Perhaps it was a prospective client?
