Complaints

Our school is committed to developing a strong sense of partnership with parents/carers and other members of the local community. This provides a good basis for understanding and resolution when things appear to go wrong. Wherever possible we would strongly recommend that you speak to your class teacher or the head teacher where appropriate. In most cases, this will normally set things right. However, the school recognises that it is your right to take your complaint further where you feel that your complaint has not been dealt with in a satisfactory way. The policy, which you can download below describes the procedure to be followed when complaints are made by parents/carers and others about the conduct of the school or the actions of any member of staff or Governing Body. It is in line with the recommendations in the DfES guidance School Complaints Procedures, 2003.
